I have always been a people person and feel very honored to help others with their most personal struggles. After 10 years of work with individuals and couples, I find myself 10 times more energized by this work. I never treat two situations the same way and try to offer a variety of treatment options so that people can choose what feels right for them. Self-love and compassion are at the core of my work. I believe they bring a huge change to our experiences and our relationships. I believe all people are trying the best they can and depending on the day our best can be taking the world by storm or our best can be getting out of bed and possibly taking a shower. However, with the right tools and support, we can create better balance and peace in our lives. I will always love those I work with. Therapy is a privilege to me and I honor being a part of the vulnerable and brave parts of people's stories.

I value the counseling relationship above all and believe in creating a space of safety and collaboration. Throughout my experience as a trauma specialist, I am always honored by my opportunity to be a partner in others' healing journey. I come from a person-centered approach and believe in genuineness and transparency when working through difficult experiences. I believe in helping clients harness their natural self-healing through dignity, respect, non-judgment, and compassion.
I have had the privilege of working with survivors of intimate partner/domestic violence and sexual assault for over eight years. I have also seen the courage and resilience within faith crises and transitions, and explored trauma through these experiences. I love being a counselor and am excited to share my passion with others!

One of the foremost guiding principles of my practice is openness, and I strive to join with my clients wherever they are through empathy and understanding. I believe in the power of every individual and their ability to heal, to live consistently with their own values and identity, and to make meaning from difficult circumstances.
I enjoy working with young children and their families as well as trauma survivors and adults experiencing discomfort or change in their life.
My goal is to help clients heal by developing healthy coping skills and reducing the impact of shame and self-criticism. I use a variety of approaches including ACT skills to help clients increase psychological flexibility, be present, and challenge their thoughts and feelings. For children, I emphasize coping skills, mindfulness, and parent involvement.

I have a passion for helping people that was developed through my curiosity of understanding the complexities of the human brain. No one person is alike in their experience and I look forward to helping all clients with their personal journey. Empathy, honesty, and trust are values I hold to when working with those who seek guidance and support. I aim to assist with developing self-compassion, renewing a sense of confidence, and gaining a fuller understanding of the difficulties a person faces through the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and other approaches that can help with each person's unique needs.

I value genuine connection and safety in the counseling relationship. In order to best meet the needs of my clients, I approach each session with authenticity, compassion, empathy, and understanding. Through a trauma-informed lens, clients are able to explore difficult experiences from childhood through adulthood. Clients are able to make choices in their lives that best fit their values and beliefs by providing a space that fosters resilience, self-compassion, and empowerment.
I enjoy working with children, parents, individuals, and couples. I work from a variety of approaches including EMDR, mindfulness-based practices, play therapy, humanistic and systems theories. I recognize that each person is unique in their needs and experiences. By having various approaches and resources, I am best able to meet the client where they are in their healing journey,
I love being a counselor and the many challenges that come with being human. Through my years working with survivors of interpersonal violence, I feel honored to partner with clients on their healing journey toward growth, meaning-making, and authentic connections. I am excited to continue to provide services for those who are ready to start the healing process!
